"I learned that I have a ton of negative painful emotions below the surface that I have been stuffing down with food and TV. I think that’s maybe why it’s been so hard to cut back on my TV watching. My cortisol levels have probably been through the roof! Tapping really seems to help process those painful emotions. I learned I can actually relax with dinner without the TV on, that eating mindfully is really possible and that I can be doing it much better than I was. I learned that tapping can really help with food cravings! Haven’t had port wine cheddar cheese since we tapped on it! What I enjoyed most about the class was learning how to tap, tapping together, and meeting others. The class materials were very helpful. The scripts were great, especially learning that I could tweak them to suit me. Debra was absolutely knowledgeable, reminding me that all issues are “tappable.” There is definitely something to tapping. I want to make it a permanent part of my “tool box”." |
