Who is this event open to?
These Reiki Gatherings are for anyone who has completed some form of Reiki workshop – regardless of where or with whom you completed your Reiki training. This gives all a place to practice and to bond and mix with other people of like mind.
What does it include?
· Meditation or self healing with Reiki.
· Time is devoted to various questions that people often have about Reiki.
· We encourage people to share their latest Reiki experiences with the group.
· We will discuss a certain topic at each gathering.
· Giving-and-receiving of Reiki healing.
Reiki will not interfere with any medical treatment you are receiving. In fact, you will find self-healing with Reiki is a wonderful addition to medical care. It can decrease stress often times associated with chronic or acute medical conditions. This will support the mind and body to heal while enlivening the spirit to feel whole again.
If you are feeling anxious, you will feel calmer. When you calm the nervous system, your mind and body will relax. This creates a chain of events to help bring you back into balance. It will calm your nerves before a big test or public speaking. Stuck in traffic, a few moments of Reiki will help you to be in a more grounded place when you finally reach your destination. Just five or ten minutes of Reiki a day will help you to move into your day feeling centered, at peace and energized.

Join our Grief Relief Expert, for our monthly Grief Circle. Much more than a support group, this is a place to truly feel heard, where you can find the answers to those nagging questions about grief that keep us stuck and suffering. Sharing is not required - open to all at all stages of grieving. Healing is doable - you are never alone.
Meditate with other like-minded seekers. Open circle includes teaching, sharing and group meditation.
Learn basics of mindful meditation, to incorporate into daily sitting meditation and everyday life.
This circle is based on the Buddhist teaching of Vipassana Meditation handed down from Gautama the Buddha over 2500 years ago.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring your meditation cushion or seat if you choose.

Reiki Kids is a program to support our children on their spiritual journey. We are at a time on our planet where it is crucial to support children and honor their new way of being.
Reiki Kids Workshop
Children are open channels of energy and are particularly receptive to spiritual understanding and experience. They are aware and intuitive with the ability to incorporate new ways of connecting with themselves, others and the world. Children naturally love to help and receive great joy by using Reiki, offering their love to their family through the gift of hands-on healing.
About this Workshop
This course is for children to get in touch with subtle energy and learn simple methods of using Reiki. An attunement is offered during this workshop, the acceptance of which is entirely up to the child. The emphasis is placed on experiencing Reiki and putting words and feelings to this experience through art, movement and sound. The workshop is conducted in a child friendly environment. Parents are welcome to stay in a helping capacity. There will be creative work and physical play. As such, comfortable clothes are essential.

Reiki is an energy therapy that works with the body’s own remarkable healing capabilities. It helps to promote and accelerate the natural healing process and restore balance on all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Self-healing with Reiki can be done safely for pregnant women. It does not cause any harm to the mother or her unborn baby, therefore making it safe to be used not only during all stages of pregnancy, but also from conception right through to childbirth.
The body and mind of an expectant mother go through a lot of changes during pregnancy. The energy balance in her body and mind (emotional balance) is under constant pressure, potentially weakening her physically and emotionally. Self healing with Reiki during pregnancy can help balance her energy and clear her body, mind and spirit. This can help her relax deeply and enable her to react quickly to all body and lifestyle changes with ease. Reiki can be highly beneficial in helping her pregnancy to develop in a stable, balanced and natural manner.
Seek a doctor's attention if you notice anything unusual or feel out of the ordinary. Reiki is great to be used in conjunction with midwives and any other professional in your birthing team.

This fun and engaging 45min class combines unique preschooler-friendly yoga poses with songs, stories, and games to create an enriching parent/child activity. Each class is personalized around preschoolers' curiosities as they learn yoga through social interaction, repetition, and play. Children ages 2-4 years also learn how to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, and increase attention span by actively following directions. Do you think that there's "nothing new under the sun"? Well, there is, and there isn't.
Women have been struggling with the symptoms of menopause for ages. Conventional therapy with hormones are used by many women who, unfortunately live with the various side-effects Many women cannot use the therapy and many choose not to do so. Many medications and herbal treatments exist that simply don't work or just prolong the experience.
A clinical trial of Hypnotherapy performed at Baylor University over a four-year period (https://www.news-medical.net/news/20150923/NAMS-panel-provides-recommendations-to-help-women-manage-menopause-associated-vasomotor-symptoms.aspx) has show results effecting a significant reduction in the severity of hot flashes:
Mean reductions in hot flash score, (a product of hot flash frequency by hot flash severity) were 16.72 hypnosis group (71.36%) at week 6 from baseline as compared to a 1.91 reduction in hot flash score (8.32% reduction) in control, (p<.001, 95% CI 38.84–47.85). At 12 week follow-up, participants in the hypnosis intervention reported a continuing reduction of 18.83, (80.32%) from baseline as compared to a 3.53, (15.38%) in the control condition. Mean differences in hot flash scores at week 12 follow-up were significant between conditions (p<.001, 95% CI 12.60–17.54).
This study led the North American Menopause Society to recommend Hypnotherapy as a viable therapy for non-hormonal management of menopause symptoms.
In this course, I am offering training in this technique for menopause suffers who desire an alternative to menopause management. Participants will participate in hypnosis to start alleviating various symptoms, and will learn a self-hypnosis process giving them additional control over the process. A recording will also be provided for daily use and practice. Additionally, sleep patterns will be re-established and methods for dealing with stress implemented.

Nicotine addiction is one of the most prevalent health problems that society has been facing for the past 100 years. What compounds this problem is that nicotine addiction a combination of the substance’s mood enhancing effects and the avoidance of withdrawal symptoms. But clearly, the greatest problem is that conditioning has occurred in the life of the user and habits have formed.
The idea of having a cigarette with the morning cup of coffee, on break with fellow co-workers, or at the end of the day while relaxing with family or friends is ingrained into the routine of the day.
Hypnosis is a tool that allows the mind to behave intentionally; to direct one’s life back on the course to health. Hypnosis is effective in assisting the mind to work with the body during the time it recalibrates itself to a more healthful standard. It accomplishes this in many ways:
• Supports the motivation to stop use
• Creates a new neurological pathway between mind and body
• Introduces new behaviors beneficial and returns the body to a nicotine-free state
• Modifies behavior to change formerly self-destructive habits

This is a group hypnosis session offered monthly and is open to all. One time may be all that’s required but returning subjects are always welcome as they continue the effort to become nicotine free.

This three hour interactive workshop is for parent(s), guardian(s) and child(ren) who are interested in keeping the calm in their lives with the people they care most about. Reiki is a natural and safe method of spiritual self-improvement, that restores emotional, physical and mental balance to our bodies, minds and souls, it stimulates the immune system and our own natural healing abilities.
Learning how to perform self-reiki will help to relieve stress and anxiety and help with personal growth and development, such as learning difficulties, temper tantrums, unexplained fears, sleep problems, injuries and any pain they may be experiencing. Trauma from loss, a move, abuse or depression or behavioral problems then Reiki can help.
Reiki helps children to transition through the stages of life, through puberty, adolescence, into adulthood as it reduces stress, anxiety and fears. As reiki relieves stress, it is a good idea to either perform self-reiki prior to any tests or exams to calm, ground and balance the child, to reduce fear and worry. Likewise for the parent or guardian, performing self-reiki before a job interview, talking before a small or large group, or a full day with the daily responsibilities of being a parent or guardian will be extremely beneficial.
For the aging parent and adult child or caregiver, the aging process of a loved one can be quite stressful, especially during healthcare challenges. Self-healing with Reiki will help the adult child, caregiver and senior find the calm, peace and love during these stressful moments.
The adult child too may be going through their own aging process and the healing energies of Reiki will provide both parent and child with:

Plants are all around us, from microscopic organisms to huge, ancient trees. Many of today's most widely used pharmaceuticals are based on the chemical properties of ancient plant medicines discovered by indigenous peoples.
But beyond their physical properties, plants are spiritual beings who have their own unique awareness, wisdom and healing gifts that can help people, not only physically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Plants are the planet’s original healers and very wise teachers. In this experiential workshop, we will use shamanic techniques, such as journeying, creative expression and ceremony, to explore the amazing realm of the plant beings. You will learn to communicate with plant spirits, tap into their vast wisdom and receive their healing gifts.
No previous journeying experience is necessary.
What to Bring
Working with Plant Spirits
In this experiential workshop, you will explore spirit realms and meet your power animal and other helping spirits. Aided by the beat of a drum or rattle, you will embark on shamanic journeys in a visionary state of consciousness employed by shamans throughout time and across many cultures and traditions.
Together we will create a safe and sacred space where all participants can join in ceremony, ritual and partner work to restore health and bring help, healing and information. No experience is necessary.

The work of fine writers will inspire you as your own best writing is evoked in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Bearing Witness: How to Write your Memoir
Groundbreaking research has now shown what shamans have always known, that we carry within us the tears of our ancestors. Science has found that genetic mutations caused by trauma create “cellular memories” that can be transmitted to future generations. Imagine the world’s collective burden of grief from the trauma and loss accumulated through thousands of years of human history.
In this experiential workshop, we will explore our collective inheritance of ancestral grief. In the process you may discover ways that you personally may have been affected by the wounds of your own ancestors. Using the shaman’s tools of journeying, creating shamanic art and ceremony to heal these wounds and create a new legacy of peace for present and future generations.
Shamanic journey experience is helpful but not necessary to benefit from this workshop. Please bring with you:

Do you sometimes feel blocked, inexplicably weary, unable to make decisions or move forward in your life? You may be weighed down by unresolved grief.
We all experience painful losses in life that affect us deeply, even though they may have happened long ago, and we may believe we have put them behind us. Whether it's the death of a loved one or other kinds of loss, like our parents’ divorce, the end of an important friendship, a miscarriage, losing a beloved pet, home foreclosure or job loss—these are just a few examples of experiences that can leave lasting scars.
Unfortunately, our culture does not make room for us to grieve our losses . We are expected to soldier on and bury our feelings. But this unresolved grief, which almost everyone carries, can keep us stuck, and unable to live our best life. This workshop will help you identify where you may be carrying grief and help you work with it on a spiritual level to bring peace and healing in all areas of your life.
Working within a circle of safety and openness, we will use guided meditation to the beat of a drum, time spent in nature, ceremony, creative expression and sharing to acknowledge and release what grieves us with intention and awareness.
